Mirai

Mirai (Japanese: æœªæ¥ã®ãƒŸãƒ©ã‚¤ Hepburn: Mirai no Mirai, [1] literally Mirai of the Future,[12] stylized as MIRAI[9]) is a 2018 Japanese animated film written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda and produced by Studio Chizu.[10] It was premiered on May 16, 2018 at Directors' Fortnight[8] and released in Japan on July 20, 2018.[13] The film stars the voices of Moka Kamishiraishi, Haru Kuroki, Gen Hoshino, Kumiko Aso, Mitsuo Yoshihara, Yoshiko Miyazaki, Koji Yakusho and Masaharu Fukuyama.[5][6][7]

It was released on August 23, 2018 in Australia,[14] September 20 in New Zealand[15] and November 2 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[16] It was released on November 29 in the United States and Canada.[17] The film was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 76th Golden Globe Awards.
