Luxembourg

Luxembourg is a small European country, surrounded by Belgium, France and Germany. It’s mostly rural, with dense Ardennes forest and nature parks in the north, rocky gorges of the Mullerthal region in the east and the Moselle River valley in the southeast. Its capital, Luxembourg City , is famed for its fortified medieval old town perched on sheer cliffs. Luxembourg’s total population is 543,202 in 2013, with GDP of 60.13 billion USD in the same year and unemployment rate of 5.7% in 2015. The economy of Luxembourg is largely dependent on the banking, steel, and industrial sectors. After so many years, Luxembourg is now the top and richest country in the world per capita gross domestic product in the world. Luxembourg in tourist literature is aptly called the “Green Heart of Europe”, its pastoral land coexists with a highly industrialized and export-intensive area.
