The Jet d’Eau is one of the world’s highest fountains and it’s located in Geneva, Switzerland. Although its construction price is unknown since it was inaugurated in 1891, it’s now known that its annual maintenance price is $ 800,000; so that it’s part of this list of the 10 most expensive fountains in the world. The Jet d’Eau is now a symbol of the city; five hundred liters of the lake water per second are jetted to an altitude of 140 meters at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
