Tyronn Jamar Lue (/tɪˈrÉ’n  ˈljuː/, born May 3, 1977) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m), 175 lb (79 kg) point guard was selected out of the University of Nebraska by the Denver Nuggets with the 23rd overall pick in the 1998 NBA draft and was traded shortly thereafter to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won two NBA Championships in his first three seasons.

Gregg Charles Popovich (born January 28, 1949) is an American professional basketball coach. He is the head coach and President of the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Taking over as coach of the Spurs in 1996, Popovich is the longest tenured active coach in both the NBA and all major sports leagues in the United States. He is often called "Coach Pop" or simply "Pop."[1][2]

Popovich is considered one of the greatest coaches in NBA history. He has amassed a record-setting 21 consecutive winning seasons, surpassing Phil Jackson, and won five NBA championships as a head coach, all with the Spurs, a feat achieved by only four others in NBA history—Jackson, Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, and John Kundla.[3]

Bradley Stevens (born October 22, 1976)[1] is an American professional basketball coach and former collegiateplayer. He is the head coach of the Boston Celtics.

Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens starred on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records. After high school, he attended DePauw University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in economics. He made the all-conference team multiple times and was a three-time Academic All-America nominee. He transitioned into coaching after quitting his job at Eli Lilly and Company, joining the basketball program at Butler University as a volunteer prior to the 2000–01 season. He was promoted to a full-time assistant coach the following season.

Erik Jon Spoelstra (/ˈspoʊlstrə/ SPOHL-strə; born November 1, 1970)[1] is a Filipino-American professional basketball coach and the current head coach of the National Basketball Association's Miami Heat. Of Filipino descent from his mother's side, he is the first Asian American head coach in the history of the four major North American sports leagues[2][3] and the first Asian American head coach to win an NBA championship.[3]

Dwane Casey (born April 17, 1957) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a former NCAA basketball player and coach, having played and coached there for over a decade before moving on to the NBA.[1]

Scott William Brooks (born July 31, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach. He is the head coach of the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and a former professional basketball player. Brooks played point guard at San Joaquin Delta College and Texas Christian University before playing his last two years at the University of California, Irvine.[1] He was inducted into UCI's Hall of Fame in 2001.

Thomas Joseph Thibodeau Jr. (/ˈθɪbÉ™doÊŠ/ THIB-É™-doh;[1][2] born January 17, 1958) is an American basketball coach who is head coach and president of basketball operations of the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA).[3] Since June 2013, he has served as an assistant coach for the USA Basketball Men's National Team.

Nathaniel McMillan (born August 3, 1964) is an American basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He coached the Seattle SuperSonics from 2000 to 2005, and the Portland Trail Blazers from 2005 to 2012.

Alvin Harris Gentry (born November 5, 1954) is an American basketball coach who is head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Gentry was a former college basketball player, who has led four different National Basketball Association (NBA) teams. He served as an interim head coach for the Miami Heat at the end of the 1994–95 season, and later coached the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, and Phoenix Suns.[1]

Stephen Douglas Kerr (born September 27, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Golden State Warriors.[1] Kerr is an five-time NBA champion, winning three titles with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs as a player, as well as three with the Warriors as a head coach. Kerr has the highest career three-point percentage (45.4%) in NBA history for any player with at least 250 three-pointers made. He also held the NBA record for highest three-point percentage in a season at 52.4%, until the record was broken by Kyle Korver in 2010.

Michael Andrew D'Antoni (born May 8, 1951)[1] is an American-Italian professional basketball coach who was formerly a professional basketball player. He is the head coach of the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). While head coach of the NBA's Phoenix Suns, he won NBA Coach of the Year honors for the 2004–05 NBA season after the Suns posted 33 more wins than the previous season. He coached the New York Knicks starting in 2008 before resigning in 2012. He was hired by the Lakers seven games into the 2012–13 season. D'Antoni, who holds American and Italian dual citizenship, is known for favoring a fast-paced, offense-oriented system. On June 1, 2016, D'Antoni was named head coach of the Rockets, and he received his second NBA Coach of the Year award for the 2016–17 season.[2]

Quin Price Snyder (born October 30, 1966)[1][2] is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Snyder was an assistant coach for the Atlanta Hawks for the 2013–14 season following his time with Euroleague's PBC CSKA Moscow for the 2012–13 season and the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers during the lockout shortened 2011–2012 season. Prior to that, he was in charge of player development for the 76ers starting in June 2010 after coaching the NBDL's Austin Toros for three seasons. Snyder was the head coach of the Toros from 2007 to 2010, the head coach at the University of Missouri from 1999 to 2006, an assistant coach at his alma mater Duke under Mike Krzyzewski from 1993 to 1999, and an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers under Larry Brown from 1992 to 1993. On June 6, 2014, Snyder was hired as the Utah Jazz's eighth head coach in franchise history.[3]

Terry Linn Stotts (born November 25, 1957) is an American retired professional basketball forward and the current head coach for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

After a playing career in Europe and the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), where he played for George Karl, Stotts became a part of Karl's coaching staff on multiple teams in the CBA and NBA. He later got opportunities as a head coach for the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks, before helping the Dallas Maverickswin the 2011 NBA Championship as an assistant coach.

William John Donovan Jr. (born May 30, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA) . He previously spent 19 seasons at the University of Florida, where his Florida Gators teams won back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007. Donovan has more wins than any other coach in the history of the Florida basketball program, and he coached the Gators to more NCAA tournament appearances, NCAA tournament wins, and Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships than all other Florida coaches combined.

Brett William Brown (born February 16, 1961) is an American professional basketball coach who is currently the head coach and General Manager of the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA. Brown is a former college basketball player who previously served as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs. He also has extensive experience coaching in Australia, having been the head coach of the North Melbourne Giants and Sydney Kings of the NBL and the Australia men's national team.

Joe Prunty (born February 12, 1969) is an American professional basketball coach who is currently the leading assistant coach for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Previously, he served as the interim head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2018 and was the head coach of the Great Britain men's national basketball team from June 2013 until September 2017.[1][2]
